iMissional.org encompasses numerous initiatives focusing on facilitating missional transformation in the life of the church in the world.
This is an interesting question because almost everyone is getting on the missional bandwagon nowadays. I recently read an article published by the Baptist General Conference where they are thinking about a missional name change in order to focus on the missional side of what they are doing. This is a classic misunderstanding of what missional means. It is not a mere descriptor of what we have traditionally called "missions," rather it describes how a church sees itself as having no agenda of its own but rather identifies itself as participating with God as sign, foretaste, and instrument of God's redemptive mission on earth. Missional is not just something we do, missional describes all that we are. So in light of this misunderstanding, an article by J. Todd Billings from Western Seminary in Holland, MI presents some needed understanding of what makes a church missional. Here's the link to his article: "What Makes a Church Missional," by J. Todd Billings
