sacred space meets on Wednesday mornings at 10 am at the Libertyville Caribou by the Metra station (on Milwaukee Avenue).
Conversations revolve around living life in the way of Jesus and gossiping about the kingdom of God.
On other days of the week, Roland grabs a cup of coffee in other places around Lake County, reading, reflecting and engaging people in conversation - and often the conversations explore life in the way of Jesus begin in serendipitous ways.
This is a conversation in which all who are seeking for a deeper spirituality in their lives are invited to "explore life in the way of Jesus." There are some beginnings of a community forming out of this conversation -- a community that seeks to live out a different ethic in Lake County -- an ethic in the way of Jesus.
READING LIST
sacred space seeks to engage in an informed conversation about what it is to be Christian in the way of Jesus, what it is to be human in the way of Jesus, what it is to be spiritual in the manner of Jesus.
The reading list below (other titles will be added) informs the conversation, as well as gives a sense of the manner of the tone we invite in this conversation -- open, seeking, listening, engaging.
